or if i am on the road for a while and then get out and get back in to go. i cannot start the car. the battery is fine. the starter was checked. .. and the thing is. that if i let the car cool for about 40 minutes or so. it starts right up as if nothing happened. i have had it looked at and they say they cant find any trouble. but its happening more and more. how do i fix it?? could it be a fuse?? or what?? when i DO turn the car off and try to start it back up. the dash lights and all come up. i dont hear the starter trying to turn. it just does nothing.

It almost sounds like your radiator is getting too hot. Make sure that the fan motor is running. If it is then it could be the starter solenoid. If it's not replace the motor, and if it still keeps acting up then try replacing the solenoid. My husband and I had the same problem with our car a while back. It did the exact same thing that you are describing. Hope this helps.

If the engine doesn't turn over then it could be a couple of things. Starter (only when it's hot it want start), ignition switch (not the lock and key), or solenoid on the starter.

Best guess the way you tell it, that it's the solenoid.

Fix the solenoid or replace the starter...
Good luck!

It sounds like you may have a bad starter solenoid.

i could think of it's going to be ok in case you in basic terms drove 4 minutes. virtually to the pink is a good purchase diverse than in the pink. Fill with coolant and positioned cap on. examine to work out if the guage is going way up. If no longer you're ok. do no longer panic.
