I am hosting an exchange student and have come blank on how to occupy our evenings. Where are some good places to take an exchange student so they can just hang out with some friends?

Show how do you spend your evenings in your country, I think you should go to a theatre once, to a cinema, go to some places where young people usually gather in the evenings in your town - a park or some other place in the centre of the town, go to the best shopping centres, a concert if there is a good one, a skating ring, may be a tennis or a basketball court. May be a club, a cafe or some other place like that could do. Don't forget to show some interesting places connected with culture and history of your country and town, may be you can go to a museum once or to buy some souvenirs, to make some beautiful photoes in front of some interesting statues, buildings, in a nice park and so on. May be you can go to a zoo, just for fun. There can be interesting events in your area, don't miss them.
