This morning I saw a Hummer with a 'Save the Planet' bumper sticker.

Is there something I'm missing?

Well you never know what OTHER things they may be doing in their life to save the planet.

They may not have bathed for 8 years. Saving unknown amounts of water!

They may only wash their dishes in a rain storm! Which might explain the 50 pound flies in their house.
There are many other ways that they could be saving the planet that completely negate the purchase of a Hummer.
I, myself have not used paper since I was 12. No special reason , just got tired of using paper. Go Figure!

When they say paper or plastic at the store, I have them stuff it in my backpack or my pants and sometimes under my shirt. I am a dyed in the wool, save the planet American. Who'll never take a bite out of a tree or a baby seal. But that's me!
There are many ways to save the planet. If the Hummer lasts a long time, think of all the metal we'd be saving from buying a new car every 3 or 4 years. maybe he only drives his Hummer, 1 mile a day.

I think I need another beer. I have forgotten what I was talking about~Another Flashback~Boy, the 70's were good to me!

Maybe the driver can't read.... Or maybe, as I've heard of in other places, someone else put the bumper sticker on the Hummer.

In Baltimore a few years back - some group was putting "Ask me how I'm helping to save the planet:" stickers on big SUVs around town. Guerrilla environmentalism!

Obviously his method of saving the planet is throwing lots of money into the carrier of the bumper sticker.

That's like Keith Richards having a "Just Say No to Drugs" bumper sticker.

It's actually running on hydrogen, so when it's involved in an accident it will take out quite a number of gas guzzlers at the same time it vaporizes into the sunset, therefore reducing many carbon feet prints [foot?].

The rest of the sticker must have peeled loose. The last couple of words are "for me."
