My friends' first wedding anniversary has just passed and i was racking my brains to think of something in the theme of papper then i found it, a website where you buy a personalised Front cover of a newspaper...i chose the story about the couple in question being named couple of the year. you can personalised the story too! They loved it and have had so many people comment about it! www.inthepaper.co.uk

Name a star after her. They give you a paper certificate with the name of the star and where it is located. You could also make a photo album of all the pictures yall have taken of your first year being married or if you don't have enough pics for that you can do all the pics from when yall were dating or all the pics from when yall were dating till now (1st year anniversary). I am sure whatever you decide to do she will love...My husband had our marriage certificate framed, it is really neat because it is in Japanese conji. We got married in Japan.

Do you have any of your old love letters to each other that you could frame? Or if you don't already have a wedding invite from your wedding framed that would be a thoughtful gift. How about writing her a love letter now or writing her a poem? It doesn't have to be store bought to be a gift. A gift from the heart is always worth more.

I rummaged through old wedding boxes and I took the napkins from our wedding reception (they had our names and date printed on it) and set up the table jast as it was at the reception and cooked a romantic dinner.. I also saved other things like match books and we had tissues packets for you "tears of joy". Go see what you have saved in those boxes.......you might be able to do something unique.
