I think that the heart is the most important part of us. When I read this question... I remember about something I heard about couples that have been married for several years (25+). I was told that partners who lose their long time partner are more likely to die with in the first 6 months after their death. It just makes me think that if that statement is true then with out a doubt heartache can totally be a cause for physical pain.

Also anyone that has ever been through a break-up can tell you the physical anguish that ravages the body when the heart is broken.

Yes it can...Heartache leads to crying to headaches, to nausea, vomiting and even muscle cramping. That's all before you get to stress and cardiology factors. I can see where not arresting heartache can lead to death. What a great reason to get a grip!

yeah, i do. heartache can turn to depression, Ive heard. this is a good time to kick yourself in the butt, start thinking positive. everything happens for a reason, its just looking at yourself objectively and realizing the good from it.
