Yeah, a former friend of mine. I think unless the criticism is constructive, people put others down to raise themselves up. Or they like to point out my faults and look past their own.

yes i have former friends(im ashamed to even consider them my friends before) who are very critical and often times they often wait for people to make a mistake and then criticize some more,you know what i think they are hippocrites!people who love to lash out at others mistakes but often fail to see that they too deserve to be criticized,.i believe in the saying If you have nothing to nice to say its better to not say anything at all.

My dad is sooooooooooo like that. Even if I do anything right my Dad can ALWAYS be counted on to tell me the things I could have done better. It's just so annoying part of who he is that my family & I have learned to just tune him out, lol.

My cheer coach in high school. She never had anything good to say, even when we finally did something we never did, or even when I was just walking with her, she couldn't even hold a normal conversation - she kept telling me the things I wasn't doing good on. Perhaps the people who do this are just insecure and unhappy with theirselves and their lives.

oh yes my sister she cant say anything nice to me but when someone critisizes me I blow it off and move on i will not let critisizim change my mood or how i feel. and i am not mean back cause i dont want to lower my self to there level so if ur in that situation stay classy!!

My husband used to be that way still is a little but is way better than he used to be and getting better all the time. So there is hope!
