To be honest, I have always thought of any guy who wears a vest to be somewhat, do I dare say grimey? I don't know what it is, maybe its because of movies I've seen but it just reminds me of a guy who sits on the sofa scratching and eating chips and drinking beer. Although, in general I don't think they are that bad if you're not sitting around the house in one.
I don't think any vest that shows of a guy's nice physique is that bad but it really does depends where and what your wearing it with.
Never wear them with shorts. Or at home doing nothing.
But apart from that I think they're quite sexy.

A nice vest with a long sleeved shirt can look sharp, as long as the vest isn't trying to hide a big gut. I have never liked vests with short sleeved shirts. I have a very keen appreciation of a well built man wearing a leather vest and no shirt. ;-)

I'm old fashioned I think a man should wear a vest in winter to keep his chest warm.

my best friend wore the same vest everyday for 5 months underneath his shirts,he even slept in it! When he decided to buy a new one we stuck the old one to the wall of our flat with drawing pins.It was stretched out as a tribute to it's good service. oh those were the days......

Bruce Willis in Die Hard lol.... no seriously if his arms and biceps are toned and muscles firm then it's cool, also i like to see the vest with baggy jeans, and nice belt, it just looks cool.
