Acting to an anonymous phone call the police raid a house to arrest a suspected MURDERER. They dont know what he looks like, but they know his name is 'John'.
Inside house they find a carpenter, a lorry driver, car mechanic and a fireman playing cards. Without even asking his name, they immediately arrest the fireman.
How do they know they have got their man?

There are 2 explanations for this---
1) The fireman had a name tag that said John on it
2) When the police came----a startled John who doesn't suspect anything opens the door & says..."hi I'm John..how may I help you?"
lol...the first explanation sounds more logical :)
Oh & "Runglee" could be right...the other 3 could be women & the fireman the only man!

Because the other three were women , and he was the only guy amongst them .This is the only solution , unless 'John' was stupid enough to wear a nametag.

A fireman should be extinguishing fire instead of playing cards i guess.
