What is the music that is played before some major football (soccer) matches? It was played before the Carling Cup final and the Champions League final last year. It's the one that starts with a drum beat, then a slow horn bit, then gets quick.

It's also used in advertising (I think Ford used it for their Champions League advertising on ITV last year). Any ideas?

I don't mean national anthems, it gets played more often at club finals not International games.

It also isn't a terrace song. Thanks!

Of course before every major football match the host country's national anthem is played in case of club championship and the competiting teams national anthems are played in case of national team matches. But I guess you are talking about the music played before UEFA's matches. Well I dont know the name of the music but you surely can here it in any of Champions League ads
