Well two halfs make a hole... fall in the hole and die.... Or
Two halfs make a whole, but if it happens on different days then you have to divide by two again into quaters, so now two quaters means your back to half again!

No that doesnt work cos the 2nd time you are scared half to death again - so thats 50% of 100% so you have another scare...or maybe its like cats life, 9 scares and youre out, or maybe you get used to being scared and get progressively less scared (say 23.56% scared to death) or just 100% "scared quite a lot but not to death"..um did i just not answer your question!
