has anyone ever had any problems getting out of nigeria??

By formulating your question that way, the answer invarably must be yes. Somebody and some point in the past must have had problems.

There are a number of people that enter Nigeria without proper visa and unless they manage to "sneak" out again, they are bound to encounter problems.

Whether anyone has ever been stranded in Nigeria, I don't know. But I have never heard of anyone being permanently stranded there.

Yes. I had just applied for my U.S passport, but it didn't come before my departure date to Nigeria, I went home anyways, using my Nigerian passport. well on the day I was suppose to come back to the U.S I realized I couldn't leave Nigeria without a green card(which I dont have, since I became a U.s citizen) or a U.S passport. well I was a soldier then, so I went to the U.s embasey, and they told me I had to have someone ship my passport to me(which was a big risk) I had it shiped to the embassey, and I came back to the U.s about 2 weeks late for work.
