To the best of my knowledge, there is no proven, surefire way to get unwanted ghosts and spirits to leave a given area.
I do not know for a fact whether or not any of the methods, which many ghost and paranormal research organizations suggest, work.
However, in an effort to help you try to learn answers to these occureences I am providing a couple of documents in the sources below that in which you will find some common, as well as some "not so common" suggestions for getting rid of ghosts and resolving paranormal activity. Good luck!

Yes, as a matter of fact. Everywhere I go, paranormal activity comes to a stop. No paranormal activity has ever been known to occur around me. Skeptics wield far greater power than any psychic, medium, wiccan, ghost , poltergeist, leprechaun or "shadow person" could ever hope to have. :)
EDIT: If things fly across the room, faucets turn themselves on and things fall from the ceiling, then set up a video camera and film it. Upload it to YouTube. Sure, a video isn't an airtight piece of evidence for paranormal activity, but at least you'll have something to show for your story.

First off, the people who committed suicide would not remain in the building so the "source" is somewhere/something else entirely.
I don't recommend any "paranormal groups" as they'll only go in for fun to collect data and tell you what you already know...you've got activity.
You need a good Medium who will hang out and find out what is really going on in the place and try to find a resolution...and sometimes, there is just no resolution to be had.

Get a hold of a good psychic to check it out. Many have had luck with help from a priest also. Sounds like a lost soul type ghost. They need to move on, but probably need some help finding a way out. Ghost from disturbed people are hard to deal with because they thought death would be easy compared to living. Now they are not only depressed but can no longer do anything about it. They get really upset and act out like a kid having a tantrum, tossing stuff around and breaking things.
Try to talk to them, it sounds like they are trying to get your attention. Let them know that they need to move on.
A good priest or psychic should do this for free, have the whole building cleared of spirits and blessed.

My house is haunted too, but it is not a bad spirit(s) at all. Usually you can hear somebody walking, and when you go in that part of the house it is very cold there. Some days it is getting very active, so I do an European trick - leave on the table a glass of water and some food for the night and say that its for them, who is here and they are welcome to live in the house, but if they have to be good and do not scary us. After that for months is quiet and I even miss my ghost(s).

If you burn the building to the ground and so the ashes with salt, the paranormal activity will stop. Evicting the kooks would do the same thing.

I recently had the Asheville Paranormal Society over to my home to get rid of a menacing spirit. Very neat and they did good. You can check them out online. Great people and cool experience.

Have you witnessed all of these "phenomena", or have these events been related to you second-hand? Did you become aware of these strange "hauntings" before or after you knew of the suicide?
The answer to all claims of the paranormal have always been, and always will be, the same: evidence, evidence, evidence. It's amazing with so many claims there has still been not one shred of evidence to support them, beyond anecdotes related by true believers.

I don't know how to stop the activity, but would love to see the video. Could you post some of it on you-tube or something and give us a link.
I think most of the people in this section would like to see the video.

Yes...I have successfully lived in the same house for over 20 years without a single poltergeist, ghost, apparition, or ghoul. If you don't believe in such things they never bother you.
