Recently in the news, I came upon this story of a car dealer, who owned a dealership and had two employees. Apparently, he was so upset that the 2 employees were constantly asking for raises, that he shot them BOTH to death!
My question is: Whatother choices would you have suggested for him to get his point across?
And don't say, "Just wing them", answer WITHOUT violence.

Well that certainly puts an end to their constant harrangment of asking for a raise, permanently!

Knowing that a car dealership usually pays their employees on commission sales vs. salary, it's really a tough business. This dealer was probably under a lot of pressure and I'd imagine that the two employees weren't that pleasant either! Still, no excuse for just pulling out a gun and shooting them!
Fire them by giving them the pink slip , not fire them by giving them the bullet!

The owner of the dealership, for whatever reason was unwilling to give a raise. Maybe these employees were not worthy of a raise , but that does not justify the outcome.
Maybe business was bad, the owner was going thru stress and the employees asking for raises sent him over the edge.
Obviously this employer was not in the right state of mind for some reason. A normal person would say " I am sorry , you are not performing to my expectations" Or "Business is down there is no extra for raises, at which point he could could have offered to lay the employee off so they could get unemployment and give them a referene. Whatever the case may be, something was definately too stressfull for the employer.

I find that morbidly hilarious. OMG that is the funniest and yet most cruel thing I heard today.

You know, since he was obviously pissed off at them for asking for too many raises, I would suggest he say this:

"Listen you two - I determine when you get a raise. And right now, you simply don't deserve it. And I'm not Santa Clause, you whiny bi*ches. Get back to work, or get your as* out of here."

he could have told them that if they wanted raises they would have to increase their sales or he could have fired them. Killing them was a little extreme.

fire them or tell them they could get a raise if they sold more cars or just ignore them.
