How many days would it take to travel from San Francisco to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, then Los Angeles?

It depends on how much time you want to spend in each place.

Assume you take SF out of the equation since your starting there. You can get to LV in a long day of driving, however depending on route you may want to stop and look at stuff. Assuming you take the scenic route through Yosemite & Death Valley you might consider breaking it into 2 shorter days of travel.

Once in LV, after about 2 days you may have had enough? This will depend on how much you love to - gamble, shop and see shows.

LV to the Grand Canyon is a short drive depending on which part of the canyon your driving to. If you don't want to hike into the canyon, take a plane/helicopter tour from LV. You'll see way more of the canyon that way and you will be that much closer to LA. Also between LV and the GC is Boulder (Hoover) Dam - which is pretty cool too.

LV to LA is about 250 miles, it will take about 3-4 hours.

I drove from Maryland to San Diego a few years ago and on our way through the southwest, we stayed one night at the Grand Canyon, the next night in Vegas, the next in LA and the next in San Diego. If you're looking to spend some time in each place, I would imagine you can do it in a week, depending on how long you wanted to spend in each city.
