it's at 9x right now, and its causing errors in playback of the dvd. i need it down to the 4x writing speed, but i can't seem to figure out how to do it. i'm using sony's "click to dvd" program.

Go to Start->My Computer. Right click on the icon for your DVD drive (usually designated as drive D:). Click on the Recording tab, and select a speed from the drop down menu.
