Star signs...........?

Do you believe that star signs have an effect on who you are compatible with.

I mean.... If your sign was not compatible with another sign would that stop you making a relationship with that person?

Personally, I don't believe in it.
I am a capricorn and my bloke is a Gemini and it states that we are not compatible. I have been with him for 5 years now and still loving it.

yeah some star signs gel better than others, but it would nt put me off a girl if her sign was nt right for mine

I don't think that the star sign alone can have an effect on what persons are compatible with me. There is a lot more to it than that, as there is a chart with an ascendant, Moon sign, Mars sign and so on. There is also free will. The earliest of astrologers have a motto that states: "The stars impel, they do not compel." However, I am a scientist, and some of my colleagues tell me that this statement is a built-in excuse for failure so that the astrologer can never lose. If that is the case, then they should read some documents and disclaimers that medical patients have to sign before they have medical treatments or surgery. They should read the disclaimers that meteorologists give when they hand over the weather report. The world of science also has many built-in excuses for failure.

Would I strictly follow what astrology says with regard to who is compatible with me? If I found someone who rocked my world but the astrology books defined her as incompatible with me, of course I would go ahead and follow my heart. That hasn't happened yet. I'm an Aries sun sign with Libra ascendant sign and Libra moon sign, and I find that I am most often attracted to Libra women. I have not settled down though, so I suppose I am living up to my Aries sun sign.

I am also Capricorn. I will not get into a relationship with a Scorpio because of the incompatibility. Even if I did not believe in signs, my past experiences made me a believer

I kind of do but I kind of dont
I am a Sag and most of my friends are water signs and I have a few earth signs.

I dont pay any attention relationship wise, you need to see for yourself if your compatible with someone regardless of star signs i dont think they are always right.
However im a leo and I really do have all the Leo characteristics so i do believe parts of it.

hi.. well i know a capri girl whom her bf was a gemini...to be honest they were together for long time but guess what she was the one who is insisting and pushing the gemini guy... he wanted the relationship to end earlier...no sooner it has ended..
soo when it comes to capricorn they toooooo pushy..they can insist on sth they think it might work while he/she is the only one who is pushing the wall sometimes they succeed sometimes they dont but they are the only one who exhaust themselves anyway!
adding to there are many factors tell if u r compatible or not ...not just ur sun sign! and not just ur western sign!

Although the some relationships seem to work according to the stars I would not base my decision on it. I think its just fun to play around with astrology but I don't take seriously.

I think you can read as much or as little as you want to with star signs. I certainly wouldn't choose or not choose a relationship because of them but then others might

yes i do believe that...i survived 15 yrs with a Libra thats my opposite but then it died for the next 14 yrs of misery so it might not last forever unless ppl keep their hormones, dont hit each other, and really compromise..
