I am not a big fan of the american eagle stores either but their stuff isn't gross., just not your style. Some of their items can be poorly made but others made with good quality just picking the right items is key. Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Aeropostale are the same store but with two differences. Abercrombie-highest priced, symbol, elk?! or something. American Eagle-not as pricy, symbol eagle. Aeropostale cheapest out of them all symbol/trademark a monkey i think.
So over all not a fan of there clothing at all too but hey that is why there are so many other stores to shop at.

Well I like Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Hollister. For those of us who know about the clothing brads, Abercrombie was and outdoor store- kind of like North face. Then they changed to what American Eagle is- casual luxury. Then Abercrombie made Hollister- a laid back style that's all about having fun. They aren't cheap at all- they last a long time and why would they be 1 of the top selling clothing stores if they're "cheap" and a "knockoff"????

wel you must have not shoped there in the last century bcz i go shopping there ALL the time and never hav problems with their stuff. i still have clothes in my closet frm 2yrs ago and theyre in really good condition.
just stop caring about where other ppl shop at. if you want to shop at a&f then shop there and just make yourself happy.
its YOUR money.

Don't shop there, then. Buy clothing where you like to. That's why I go to thrift stores, yard sales, etc. Clothing companies seem to be doing just fine without my business.

I don't know how you treat your clothes, but all my AE clothes have held up pretty well. If you want to spend twice as much for the same thing, feel free, but why complain about it?
