i gave birth 14 days ago 2day my bleeding has settled down to a drizzle but it is brown and watery and smelly i have no stitches so i dont know if this is normal i have no pain passing urine and my bowels move normally

I would ask your midwife of GP to check to you. You could have a slight infection. Even though you didn't need stitches you can still have little cuts and grazes inside from giving birth.

I have 2 daughters and the blood from having both of them smelled some what, It wasn't really bad and it only lasted about a week. If it has a really strong bad odor then I would go see your doctor. You are supposed to see your doctor 2 weeks after giving birth anyway, I would just ask them at your check up and if you don't have a check up scheduled then you need to schedule one.

smelly usually equals bad. If you have left your pad on too long or haven't showered that day, then that could be it. But if it is still smelly after changing etc... then mention it to your doc at check-up. You could have an infection or left some placenta behind.

See a doc if it continues.
