I only average 4 to 5 hours of sleep during the day because I have this yearning to spend as much time with my fiancee' as possible every single day. I think it's just as important for me to communicate with her as it is to sleep. It's much more productive, too. We talk to one another, and communicate very well, as often as possible. I work nights, but am pretty well-conditioned so I can make it with lesser hours of sleep than most others.

At this point, I don't see the sunrise with daylight savings and all! And I have been sleeping in a little more since I am staying home with baby girl! Yet, she is all over the place with her sleeping patterns of late; so I may see a sunrise soon! I almost did this morning. She had me up off and on from 1 am until 4 am! She was just super restless : ( And her binky kept falling out through the bars of her crib!
When I was a teacher and had to travel 30 minutes to work, I saw most sunrises! : )
Moon, good morning, to you, too! I like your new avatar picture; it is soooo cute! I love bears!

Good Evening Moon,
It's light at the moment when we wake up and the evenings are light too. But come September/October, it starts getting dark around 5 pm and the mornings are really dark too. This makes the day seem so much shorter as you actually start feeling tired around 6 pm and I don't get up as early in the mornings either ... though I'd never lie in for too long as I like to get as much as I can out of the day.

Good morning, Moon! I am still waiting for the sun to come up/. I see the sun rising every day. It's something to see.
You have a wonderful day, too.
Always happy to answer your questions.

It's usually still pretty dark when I get up, normally around 5:00 a.m. I don't really see the sun rising, because I keep the blinds closed all the time: my neighbors are too close.
And for all those who know I am retired, and wonder why I get up at 5:00 a.m., it's because I'm crazy, obviously! Old habits die hard.

The sun is usually up before me in the summertime, but I am usually up before the sun in the Fall and Spring. One of the great joys about driving in to work is to see the sun peeking over my shoulder. As I am going home, it is often settling over the Franklin Mountains, looking like it's about to lay an egg. It is seldom cloudy or overcast in the high desert, so we see a lot of the sun, but when it gets cold, the pollution from the other side of the border sometimes obscures our view. they can't help it of course. They have to keep warm just like we do, and they use what they've got, but it is sad to see black clouds instead of sunshine.

I see the glorious night a few times through its passing, and often see the sunrise tipping the trees with gold. But I always go back to bed. There are no tides to catch, here. So I can daydream or potter through memories instead. I enjoy that.

It all depends on the time of year, but the best sunrises I've seen
is after I stayed up all night.
Thanks for the question, Moon.
