Life is a game. The thought of just asking the question may mean that you already know the answer although it is not apparent at this time. In this world no-one dies - in each of your lives you are giving a certain amount of time to complete your life purpose - if you don't complete in that lifetime - you move onto the next body - and so on until you complete. The game is such that not many people know this, let alone what their life purpose is and how to complete it.

There is no hard-and-fast distinction between a life and nonlife. Early scientists thought there was a "vital principle", called quintessence or pneuma, that was present in every living thing, and absent in everything nonliving. This has not proven to be true. A growing conviction, intuitively felt by many biologists, is that no clear line can be drawn between the living and the non-living. The bridge between what is and is not obviously alive consists of a range of problematic agents, including viruses, prions, and transposable genes, which appear to be living at times and non-living at other times.
The following is a very general characterization of what defines a living thing.
Birth and Death, Need for an Energy Source, Reproduction, Information, Evolution

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be, your neighbour, your co-worker, a long lost friend, or a complete stranger. When you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.
Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become.
Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen.
Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.
You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.
Most importantly if you Love someone tell him or her, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.
Learn a lesson in life each day that you live.
That's the story of Life.

I don't think there really is meaning to life as such!!
I just think that we are all here to live life to the fullest and make the most of what we have.
All the bad things in the world were caused by humans, by the mistakes we have made... but we should learn from them and try to make the world a better place.
If you think about it...we started with nothing and have created so much, it is pretty amazing!!

Why are we here? What's life all about?
Is God really real, or is there some doubt?
Well, tonight, we're going to sort it all out,
For, tonight, it's 'The Meaning of Life'.
What's the point of all this hoax?
Is it the chicken and the egg time? Are we just yolks?
Or, perhaps, we're just one of God's little jokes.
Well, ça c'est 'The Meaning of Life'.

Life is not about the years that we are expected to live.It is not about anything that man possesses in life. They say that life is but a dream. Life is about finding the real purpose in his world.and the real purpose?many men don't seem to find the real purpose their whole life. They keep on searching on whatever things that they don't have. But they found no satisfaction. It's because many men don't know their own purpose. Life is finding your own purpose...
When you find your purpose, then you will find contentment and satisfaction. And when you finally find that contentment, you will find peace and you are able to give back to other people, and the Lord as well. and that is life.

What's the meaning of life? Man cannot be... God. But we can all strive to leave this old world a little better than what we found it for our being here. Think positive.
Best.

Life is precious and temporary with no proof that an afterlife exists, although a lot of money is generated from the idea. Live life to the fullest and don't live it for an afterlife.
