Well, you have to be careful about the person you loan money to in the first place. If someone named Corina DeFore comes up and says "didn't I go to East High with you in the 80s you better grab your money and run!
She still owes me money and I figured out about 2 years after I loaned it to her where she was and instead of saying "sorry for ripping you off" she said "how did you get this number!"
I haven't forgotten about it though and with interest that 100 dollars would be big bucks now!

I quit asking after a few times, but I never forget about it!! It's happened to me 2 times recently!! I think I should ask, but I just don't have the nerve to ask too many times! It's very rude for a friend to do that to another friend, but it happens!!

It's terrible, I've had to let it go, I've lent so many people money and it makes me furious to have done such a thing, I lent someone $ 1,000 dls about 4 years ago, only gave me $ 500 back about 2 mos ago, and I have to always be asking these individuals to pay back and they don't. I've learned my lesson never will lend money to people, and if it's family I've always just let them have it.

Having already made repayment arrangements with them if they miss the payback day then I will one time call and remind them ( which they don't need to be anyway ,they know they owe )and say what's up with my money , surely you don't need to make payments on the 50 dollars do you ?. If they don't pay me then I don't have to worry about them asking to borrow money from me anymore and get to report like Equifax or Trans Union to all of our mutual acquaintances how I got stiffed by him ( or her :))..

Keep asking or get something of equal or greater value to hold onto until they do....Make it a point to never loan money to anyone.

I wouldn't repeatedly ask for it but I'd be cautious about ever lending him/her anything again.
