To those of you who clearly are BNP members and keep posting on this site: the UK is a democracy and as such, you're entitled to vote for whichever group you want. But at least have the guts to come out and admit you support a racist, obsessively nationalistic party. The BNP is, and has always been, racist. That's why several of your members have been imprisoned for unprovoked attacks on Jews and Asians. So stop lying about it; you're not fooling anyone!

KATE: No, that doesn't make you a racist! What makes you a racist is if you support the BNP - a group who openly declare they would ban ALL Muslims from flying in or out of the UK and who would chuck out all Jews, Asians and Blacks; or do worse to them.

KEVIN C - I TOTALLY agree; I also think that the extreme Islamic groups and their hateful preachers are bloody scary and a major threat to this country. BUT have you actually read what the BNP say about blacks/jews/asians? It's horrendous - and ironically very similar to what the Muslims say about us!

Bruce M - the police do already monitor BNP. They know the group well - several BNP members have served prison time for unprovoked attacks on blacks and jews and asians.

REDMONK: If you'd bothered to read my question and the added bits, you'd see I agree totally that there are huge problems in the UK and that I too feel tougher immigration laws are urgently needed.
But it's YOU who are misguided if you deny that the BNP is racist: they themselves produce material denouncing and villifying asians, jews and blacks; I've read it. You clearly haven't. As for your absurd question asking if I'm anti jewish - just look at the questions I asked yesterday regarding Israel you'll realise how stupid your question actually was.

Only the liars of the BNP and the seriously deluded cannot accept that the BNP is a racist organisation. Indeed their leader, Nick Griffin has been quoted as saying:
"Without the White race nothing matters [other right-wing parties] believe that the answer to the race question is integration and a futile attempt to create "Black Britons", while we affirm that non-Whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land."
Also, Tony Lecomber, a leading BNP activist was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for leading an anti-semitic attack on a Jewish teacher by a gang of BNP thugs.
Similarly, Alan Bailey (Havering councillor) pleaded guilty to carrying out a violent unprovoked assault on a man in February 2004.
Brian Turner (Burnley councillor) was convicted in 2006 for racially abusing a group of Asian men.
David Enderby (Redditch councillor) was found guilty in January 2007 of three counts of assaulting members of his estranged wife's family.
BNP Burnley councillor Luke Smith was imprisoned in March 2006 for 11 months for violent disorder, and a further six months for other violent offences.
And I could go on and on. And that's only a few of the violent thugs, we haven't even mentioned the benefit fraudsters, and the absentee councillors!
Everyone but the stupid can see that the BNP are the same racist thugs they were when they called themselves the National Front, and ultimately they will have the same electoral success.
Like in the old days of the NF, they blame their poor image on the media and on their opponents being 'brainwashed'. Nothing to do with their own actions, of course.
Redmonk, understandably, raises valid concerns about immigration and rightly questions the will or ability of the three main parties to confront the issue. But his assertions that the BNP have any part to play in British politics are simply laughable.
He throws terms like 'reverse racist' about, without the slightest understanding of the term and likens the situation in 2007 UK to the ethnic cleansing of 1990s Yugoslavia or 1930s Germany. He labels those who oppose the BNP as "SWP members" (bloody hell, Red, the SWP must have about 59 million members!). But he thinks that the Brown / Blair governments are communist! So where do the SWP sit relative to our 'communist' government, Red?
I agree there are issues with immigration and that we need to exercise controls. But we need to apply controls fairly, evenly and for the benefit of all of Britain, not for the benefit of just the white racists in Britain.
So I use the label racist - but I know what it means. The BNP , if they ever got power, would treat certain British Citizens less favourably, because they have brown skin. They would exclude them from citizenship. That's racism. That stinks.
So, we all know the BNP are a bunch of racist thugs, and that only the racist or the stupid would defend their policies.
So, BNP defenders. Which are you, racist or stupid? Or both?
MORE EDIT:
Redmonk - explain, please! What's a "Native Briton"? How can I check whether someone is or isn't a "Native Briton"? A quick working definition would suffice. You see, if I am to be concerned for the plight of the "Native Briton", I need to be absolutely clear what one is.
I guess I'm one - white, born in UK, both parents born in UK.
I guess my mate Andy isn't - born in South Africa of Indian extraction. But he works and pays UK tax.
Is my brother in law a native Briton? - a serial benefit fraudster, never worked legally or paid tax in his life, white, born in UK of UK born parents?
What about my friend Chris? Born in UK, UK born parents, lived all his life here, works and pays tax in UK, two Trinidadian grandparents, two Jamaican grandparents, very brown skin. Is he a native Briton?
So, Red, a working definition, please!
Yes, it's easy to find as many thugs and crooks in the Labour party as in the BNP. But you're choosing out of 6000 Labour councillors, and less than 50 BNP. More than half of BNP councillors have been exposed as violent thugs, benefit fraudsters, and absentee councillors!
You know, Red, I kind of respect your beliefs, and I don't think you're a racist. What I can't accept is that the BNP would protect Britons fairly and with no racial overtones.
It's up to you Red, support the BNP and you are either a racist or incredibly stupid. I can see why you would support UKIP, who are a democratic, non-racist organisation, but Red, see through the BNP lies and do yourself a favour.
If you continue to defend BNP, as I've already said, there are only two possible conclusions - racist or fool.

I think you may have just spotted the flaw in the argument of many of those posting these questions. Their question usually begins with something along the lines of, "I'm not racist and some of my friends are Black/Indian/Pakistani (delete as appropriate)....." but then they're off like a dog out of a trap in search of a three legged rabbit. Frequently it's the same old questions supported by the same old 'facts' and conflating a whole plethora of different issues; asylum seekers, immigration, housing shortages, crime, the death of British society, watering down of British culture, the list goes on. We are a democracy and post WWII reconstruction we've relied increasingly on cheap labour to support our economy. Contrary to what some claim in response to these questions, the electorate has been asked consistently about immigration, it gets to vote on the issue at every general and local election and that is at least part of the reason that the BNP gets the few votes that it does. The lack of support for the BNP indicates both that people are more willing to take a reasonable view of the issue and that they don't believe that the answer lies with this fringe 'party'. And I agree with you, no were not going to ignore it.

I wouldn never vote BNP. Some of their policies I do agree with such as withdrawal from Europe, cutting down on asylum seeker acceptance, more skills training for school leavers and a more back to basics approach in education - teaching kids about their British heritage etc.
But they are way too extreme for me in other ways.

The BNP may well go over the top with some of there proposals, but if you want to save this country from being taken over by Muslim radicals that think that all westerners
are second class or worst and this word you and others keep throwing in decent peoples faces RACIST
someone with a belief of superiority of a particular race,
prejudice based on this discrimination against others,
I know two wrongs don't make a right,
but the BNP pose no real threat to the future of England I
Believe these racist Muslim clerics and there millions of followers are a much bigger worry

I think you have a media view of the BNP. Nothing of what you say is true, and Space phantom has been reading to many Dr Who scripts, where do you get it from. The BNP are made up of ordinary
people in the street, where do you (maybe you would like to tell us all) separate Racism from concern.
Maybe you would like to enlighten all of us exactly
what New Labour, Liberals or Torries are going to do to ease our concerns about immigration and going into Europe, once the three main parties have assured us they are going to do somthing perhaps voting BNP or UKIP won't be necessary.
We here in Britain are a minority Global race yet as one of the BNP (probable SWP member)haters above tells us in a previous answer (space phantom himself) nearly 15% of this country is inhabited by immigrants. Now to me thats somthing to get concerned about. What Space didn't tell us when he disclosed this information is whether that included illigals who the goverment openly admit to not having a clue as to how many there are.
You see, the goverment can no longer lie about numbers as it has done in the past because it is blatently obvious that immigration has got out of hand.
The fact that the goverment has increased the quota of immigrants from 50000 to 250000 a year tripples and quadripples the concerns of the average (already a minority on a globay scale)native. As you can see from previous answers Racism no longer has anything to do with black and white or our views on immigration but National concern is growing and growing but who is listening.
The BNP and UKIP offer the only real alternative to limiting the dangers of ethnic cleansing on such a major scale. The good thing is that the BNP have made a commitment to contest every single seat at the next election finely giving the badly needed boost to our Native community to express our views openly and effectivley.
Are you anti Jewish yourself, do you support the right of the Jewish community to exist, Isreal have strong views on the jewish right to exist and keep the jewish nation alive whatever. The native British also have a right to exist. The problem with Reverse Rascists like yourself is that you do not fully appreciate the that our nationality is important and it is not a crime to protect it. The right place is at the ballot box even thoough the BNP and UKIP are so heavily discriminated against.
ATB Red
Mick the Cod (only joking) Fish.
The reason why no one admits to supporting the BNP is the media coverage and the image given.
Tell me Mick when is the last time you actualy saw a reasoned debate with a BNP Candadate or member of the BNP? Answer: The only coverage given to the BNP is when a former member does somthing like the recent case of hoarding chemicals that could make a bomb.
Whats's that got to do with the BNP, is a former member a member?
Ancho N:
No the BNP are not racist against the Jews, I was trying to equate the two scenarios, to show that if you support the Jewish cause you must support the Native Britains cause likewise
Space Phantom
Hi, space I sort of miss you not joining in any more, I can't appologise for my views and sometimes having a dig, but if I have said somthing that has caused you any offence, I unreservadly appologise. I try to use reasoned argument and not personaly abuse anyone. Hope we hear some of those devestating comments soon All The Best Red
Hi Sceptic
Hi, 'Me Old Mukker' (mate)
This forum always leaves me to straighten you out,
First I'm sorry you are not able to distinguish concern from racialism, although you have condemned the concerned Native Britain to the status of a Racialist, thats an awful lot of people. Are you sure you actually understand what Racialist means.
Secondly, if your going to mention violent crime why did you leave these out:
Labour councilor (Kirby, Merseyside) Charles Preston, convicted for 5 years for assault and burlary
Labour Councilor ( Wales) Denis Jones convicted and jailed for attacking a neighbour with a sledge hammer.
Labour Councilor (Wales) Ken Brookman-Bit of an ear in a dispute over a train seat.
Labour Councillor and former mayor(stockton)-Investigated for beating up and hospitalisng an OAP OF 79 ( Red's comment- Sh!t bag),
Labour MP Tom Grayham, Expelled from party for his part in driving a man to suicide
Labour Deputy Prime minister, John Prescott beats a man to pulp in front of three million witnesses.
Like you say the list goes on, so what was your point.
To conclude scep, You have two choices:
(1) Ignore what is taking place and defend ethnic cleansing
(2) Resist and try to limet the damage New Labour have done.
The BNP are not rcialst but they are realists and they are aware that without urgent action the Native Britain will be extinct if we do not gel together.
As far as the black argument is concerned with the introduction of the cleansing process extending to Europe there is no your black any more. Sceptic you must keep up with the lay lines.
Anyway Sceptic All the best Red
Ms Londonminx
Are you going to explain how to seperate racism
from concern and then perhapes tell us how we should vote.
I'd love to see the question you asked yesterday so are you going to go public with your profile, or point me in the right direction.
And another thing after destroying the the BNP who exactly is going to make these tougher laws.
Did New Labour listen to the people about Iraq?
Have new Labour listened about Europe,
Are any of the other major parties queuing up to stop the madness of the Ethnic cleansing that is and has taken place in some areas of Britain. Perhaps Sceptic, Spacephantom, and some of the others will help you out here as we all seem to be of the opinion that somthing must be done.

It's a tricky one, isn't it. Free speech is one of the most important rights we have - but then you have the BNP. I don't want to hear their ****, but I have to rely on other people thinking the same as me because they'll only ever give up if no one's listening. But if it's true that the BNP is made up of 'ordinary people', then god help us all!

Does it really matter? Every time one of their supporters on here opens their mouths they put their foot in it big time.
I for one am not fooled by their 'I'm not racist, but...'mantra. There is a saying; nationalism is the last refuge of the scoundrel. The BNP seem to be heading for that refuge, flashy suits et al.

So I am classed as racist because I dont want immigrants coming over here and abusing the foundations of the country.
I have nothing against the ones who come over here to work for a living, its the others I have a problem with.
Its also the ones who are "offended" by a symbol of christian faith. Well you know what, dont live here then. I wouldnt move to another country and expect them to tip-toe around me so why should I do it for them?
EDIT - The BNP website actually states a halt for all IMMIGRATION until a system has been set up for filtering out the "good" from the "bad", i.e The ones who come here to build a better life, or the ones who come here to free-load.
