My mum, a friend of her's and I went to Man and His World in Montreal in 1967. It was the first time I'd ever seen Buckminster Fuller's Geodesic dome. My mum's friend only wanted to look at fabrics from whatever country and even though I was 13, I got bored stiff. Finally my mum said to her you know, there's more to Man and his world than just fabrics and sewing , if I had known that's all you were interested in I would have taken Liz and we could have gone off separately from you. She got the hint. It was a very interesting fair, especially being in Montreal just when the separtist movement was in full swing.

I lived in San Antonio, TX. when the Worlds Fair was there. Hemisfair 1968. Very exciting, and interesting. Many people from a lot of different cultures. We got to go several times, I was a senior in high school. Quite a place to go for a date. I got to eat at the top of the tower a couple of times. Great memories.

Hey,
I was there too. Remember the Handwritten Bible?
That is where my Sunday school teacher took us. I also went with my class and rode in the cars of the future.
Man, it was great, and so exciting. I took my kids to Flushing Meadow Park in the late 80's and have a picture of them in front of the giant globe. My cousins and I use to go ice skating there after the fair left.
Where is the World's Fair now? Is there still one?
Peace
