Core Duo (Yonah2) is a 32bit mobile processor only that came out before Core2 Duo (Conroe). Core2 Duo is a 64bit processor with mobile and desktop versions.

Core2duo are latest . Coreduo are based on 32-bit mobile technology with integrated dual processors having 533mhz front bus speed . whereas Core2duo are 64 bit technology based processors having 667mhz front bus speed. But both of them supports 667 mhz PC 5300 RAMs.
Coreduo are basically T20xx,T22xx, T23xx and so on with 1 MB and 2MB L2 cache. Core2duo are T5500,T5600 ,T7100 so on with 2MB L2 cache only .In 4MB L2 cache cOre2duo processors the models like T7500,T7600 nd comes under Santa Rose Platform Technology
