What r the lacking in these two??

Both are good though the Core 2 Duo is somewhat faster than the Athlon 64 X2.

Intel core 2 duo are the best compare to the amd processors.

Core2DUO performs better than AMD Athelon uptill now , but AMD's Quad Core is definitely better then Core2duo

As I have been using Core 2 Duo I can say its good. I have never used AMD Athelon so I can't really comment on it.

Hi-i think the Intel Core2 Duo is better---its very powerful so you have good cooling of the CPU-thats all-good luck
