Which one did you like best, and why?

Okay, if you are not a mountaineer, a trip to the foot of the mountain will do. Actually, I just want a sense of how many YAPpers are hikers, trekkers or just plain adventurous.

I had two mountains with such wonderful experiences..........
1)
Well, way back 1992, in order for me to distribute my sets of questionnaire to the different barrios (counties) on an island, I had to do the mountain hopping. I passed the foot path wherein if you missed your steps you would land on a cliff. It took me 6 hours to reach all the barrios as my target areas for my thesis writing.
When I, together with my guide reached home, he informed his mother that he was so amazed that I did not get tired of walking on the mountains as if I was there climbing every mountain to see the beauty of the entired surroundings. Actually, as a nature lover, I enjoyed the view from the top :)
2)
ANother one was last 2005 when I had no idea that we would climb a mountain and would sleep there overnight! I accompanied my former american friend to be with the group of Aetas in Infanta, Quezon. We reached Infanta and waitied for our guide till 3PM. Since I had no idea where we would go, I simply kept quiet. We rode on a motor banca for 2 hours. Then to my surprise, we had to climb an 85degrees mountain. Since I love to go on mountain climbing, I just go on hiking. But when we reach the middle portion of the 2km walk, our guide informed me to wait for him because he left his flashlight near the motor boat. But I immediately gave him my own flashlight and we hiked. We arrived on top of the mountain at around 11PM. We ate then slept.
When the morning came, I saw the beauty of Mother Nature! The hardest part was when we climbed down the mountain. I almost fell because a branch that I used as a cane could not carry my weight. So, I slid down and I was able to grab the backpack of my companion and it;s good I pulled him backward and not pushed him forward, or else!!!!!!! He fell on me and it;s also good that there was no hard objects in his backpack. When I looked up, I could not believe myself that I was able to climb that stiff mountain.
These are the two mountain experiences I had in my entire life.

I did a little mountaineering before but so far, I've only climbed Pulog, Banahaw, and Kanlaon. These were my major climbs, and I liked Pulog the best because it's such a beautiful mountain - very scenic and not very difficult to climb. It was really, really cold though when we climbed.

I wish I could go back to Pulog and perhaps also climb Apo and Cuernos de ******. [sigh] I better do this before I become too old to climb.
