Is there any way to transfer mp3s or midis from my memory card and use that for a ringtone? Otherwise, is there a better way to get free ringtones that I'm not thinking of?

The short answer is no. The phone is programmed to not allow such a transfer. However, there is a way you can link the phone to a computer via Bluetooth and manually load ringtones using a file manager program like Bitpim. However, describing how this is possible is beyond the scope of this forum, so you will have to search for instructions online. And keep in mind, you alone are responsible for any harm that may come from modifying the device and/or its software without permission from your provider or the manufacturer. Proceed at your own risk.
