I'm thinking of buying this PC from my friend, but I don't know if it is worth AU$950. It has been used for about 6 months:
Specs:

Motherboard:
Asus P5B

Processor
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHZ

RAM:
2.5GB DDR2 (3 x 512MB, 1 x 1GB)

Graphics Card:
X800GT

Hard Drive:
250GB x 1 - SATA
320GB x 1 - SATA

Optical Drives:
18x Liteon DVD+/- R/RW/RAM/DL
16x Samsung DVD+/- R/RW/RAM/DL

The above is a generic (Self Assembled) PC.

It appears to be an upgraded PC where an old graphics card was used. I'd take it for AUS$750, sell the X800GT then replace it with at least an 8600 GTS. It then becomes an up to date PC that's also better in games and HD video.

It's probably worth it if you get Keyboard/Monitor/Mouse etc, although if you have some decent gear already you could probably build your own machine and get better performance for a similar price. O/S is an expensive extra. Hope this helps.
