Which team has the potential to win the NBA crown based on each teams line-up? Of course you have to explain your answer to convince me. Best answer would come from the team with many answers so good luck!

The suns have the leadership of steve nash, power of amare stoudemire , shooting of shawn marion, the addition of grant hill, and they have some extremely talented role players in leandro barbosa, boris diaw, raja bell, pat burke, and marcus banks, and strong rookies in dj strawberry and alando tucker. I know I named just about everybody on this roster, but this team has no weaknesses and is poised to win a ring after last years suspension disappointment.

1 Phoenix - they got hill to go with there awsome trio. bell is a solid defender, barbosa is a mad dog in the open court if they got a good back up big they would be awsome.
2 Denver - close second. iverson melo are oobvious but when k mart is healthy they could be lethal. Nene and camby are really good bigs and JR is potentially an all star with his combo of high flying and shooting. I see him as a VC sort of player. However i dont reckon kmart will stay healthy and i see melo and iverson's personalities clashing.
3 spurs - they the champs gota habe respect for that
note about boston - they have the second best trio in the leauge for my money behind PHX but are no where as deep. Depth is ALWAYS a factor ie see the champions for the last 5 years. Spurs, DET and Miami were all deep when they won.

For me,It's the New Jersey Nets.Why?
They've got :
1- Kidd - Which is a great passer and defender,also he can score that basket if he want to.
2- Carter - Great inside and outside scorer.Can also drop big shots.Great Dunker
3- Jefferson - Can score inside.He can score in traffic.Also a great dunker.
4-Sean Williams - This rookie can dominate the paint inside.He can defend and block with his strong body.
5-Jamaal Magloire - Nice move by Rod Thorn,He can score inside and at the same time play defense.Great all-rounder inside.
Also add this potential players : Marcus Williams,Josh Boone;Antoine Wright.They can be an all-star player someday.
New Jersey will now turn into a real Eastern contender.

The Phoenix Suns. They have Nash who can pass the ball at will. Raja Bell who is clutch shooting the 3. Marion, can run both ends of the floor, defend and shoot the 3, Stoudemire who can run the pick-n-roll very well with Nash and can defend and score with Nash handling the ball, and Diaw who can pass, shoot mid range, and defend. The Suns roster looks good on paper but can it win a championship? Who knows.

I would have to say the celtics just cause the have 3 big all stars in kg paul pierce and ray allen and ray allen and pierce are still good even though last yr they did bad cuz pierce was hurt but hes 100% and now adding kg they have a great chance to be a big contender

I guess one would have to say the Spurs since they won it all. Plus they play shut down defense and everyone knows their role. They make winning look so easy. You got Parker breaking down opposing defenses and from there he can make a crazy shot, or dish it to the corner to one of his spot up shooters or Duncan. Ginobli is a crazy man coming off the bench too. Everyone sells out on defense. That's why they will contend next year.

wilt chamberlin, jerry west, elgin baylor- oh you meant in today's nba, it's got to be the orlando magic, i know that is a crazy thing to say, but they signed rashard lewis, and they already had jameer nelson and dwight howard, lewis is going to take the double off of howard and he is going to be a beast in the paint, but the downfall might be the other two players in the starting line up who i can't name because they are probably unknown, and unknown to me.
