Because if you talk about them you are a racist, if they talk about you it's "comedy". And yes their was a college in Minn, that tried to install foot baths at tax payer expense. The ACLU is am organization founded by an admitted communist, enough said.

I doj'[t' know where you are getting your information, but it is clearly out of touch with the reality on the ground. They haven't installed footbaths at colleges for Muslems - that is totally absurd.
I agree that there is a propensity to allow Black racism and indignancy over White racism. But i agree with the above poster who pointed out that in this country we have free speech.
As for the ACLU do you know they only take on Constituional issues. They are totally committed to SUPPORT the Constitution and our Bill of Rights and I say more power to them. YOu should read those documents, they have been the light of the world - truly inspired literature.
As for creating hate. I don't see it except from poeple like yourself who spout some of the most hateful words about Liberals and the ACLU of which you obviously know very little about but what you've heard on some NEoConservative talk show.

I think that when Black comedians stereotype about other blacks, it actually serves to take the venom out of the stereotype. Richard Pryor was one of the best. If it's done it a humorous way that isn't meant to be vicious or hateful, I don't see anything wrong with it.

The ACLU doesn't because it's not a govt agency performing the act -- hence, it's not a constitutional issue.
Some liberals (not most) do get upset -- and they should learn to relax and stop freaking out just because someone is saying something they don't like. Free speech is free speech -- even where the govt is not involved.
I've never figured out where the NAACP draws its lines -- so I abstain from commenting about thei rmotives.

1) to address this one must put all of what you are rambling about in the context.
2) the context in which this is stated is in one of colonized and colonizer.
3) When Anglos came they became coloniziers. ie the 13 colonies ect ect.
4) Blacks are not the power base, nor muslims nor latinos, regardless of numbers.
5) Comedy is a very grey area.
6) Comedy in these contexts are a sybol of resistance to the dominating power structure or hiearchy.
7) accomodations should be considered when resonable.
wheather handicaped or elderly or whatever within reason.
9) for the dominating power base to reinforce its or re excert its power to the dominated groups such as minorites it is not a symbol of resistance, though it may be comedy.
ie white jokes. vs black jokes.
or colonizer vs colonized .
10) Stero types when presented by the ruling power are oppressive and maintained to secure power,
when presented by the oppressed, they become flipped" or a symbol of resistance
hence the N bomb, or N word.
hope this helps.

Your SO RIGHT. I went to Devry in Pomona Calif., they had Asian clubs, Latino clubs, Afro-American clubs, but heaven help me if I started a Caucasian club, ALL HELL would have broken loose. It's reverse discrimination! And it's about time the Caucasians started raising about all the RACIST crap being said about them. Someone needs to drag one of those comedians or actors off the stage and out into the alley! Boycott their Movies and Clubs. If they want to dish it out, then they can shut their mouths and take some of themselves!!!
