a friend is doing a gig tonight. Its his first big one and i would love to buy him a crystal that symbolises 'luck' but i've looked on the net and so many pages have a different crystal. I don't know who to beleive. Anyone know their crystals that can help?

When in doubt, use quartz(or diamond, if you can get it), because iti is an all-purpose stone.
For matters relating to money, use a green crystal.
For matters relating to emotion, use a blue stone.
For matters relating to communication use a light blue or yellow stone,
For matters relating to aggressiveness, love, or power, use a red stone.
In this case, any of the above could work. Again, Quartz is an all purpose stone, So I'd suggest that one, but basically, it just depends what kind of luck you want to encourage.
