She is definately pregnant, from the pics she's only days away, since she has already that squary look about her beneath her head
The orange you see are her fry she carries, Micky mouse platies are born already with color
Get some live plants for the fry to hide, she might have had young last month but you didn't see them because they were eaten

Hope that helps
good luck

they opt for extra oxygen. Is your pump working (making bubbles) and if so, is it massive or stable adequate for a 20 gallon tank? Water temp is a sprint severe, the better that's, the extra oxygen (pump produced bubbles) you will opt for on your water.additionally, I used to apply a sprint marine salt (tiny pinch to a gallon of water) to maintain ailments away too, as quickly as I had platys, guppies, etc. keeps ich away.

She looks like she's pregnant to me but from what I read females are chunkier than the male platys

your platy is pregnant and you can await offspring any day now.
the reason why the fish looks so sick is because the fish has a deformed spine, supposedly since its birth, possibly because of inbreeding (livebearing fishes in aquaria tend to it).

do you think that she has an infection? The best thing for her would be to take her to the vet and they will sort her out.
