you know, my dad is so old now that I more feel bad than afraid if I contradict him. If it's something I really believe in, then he has to back down. But for everyday things, I'd rather just give him his way.

Nah. He didn't raise me so I'm not afraid at all. He's a strange character anyway. Example: his wife made him a sandwich and cut it in half. He got all pizzed off because she cut it the wrong way and threw it in the trash and made her fix him another one!!! I would have told the old fart to have made it himself!

Nope, I respect him but if I need to stand up for myself to anyone then I' am going to do weather we are related or not.

i just found out today that my dad is not my real dad that my real dad died and that he never had a dad and neither did my mom and my "fake" dad was never a true dad and my dead real dad was gay so G careful with the words you throw around

it really depends on what the situation is, but if he is seriously angry then i don't back away or stand up to him i just leave him be. but normally i would put up a fight
