this woman told please she had seen????
if that was me and i seen Maddy and believed that was the missing bane,i would not care if she was with a bloke 8 foot tall built like a brick s**t house i would start screaming my head of and pointing my fingers and make as much noise as possible.
why the hell did she not do that?? no she left and went to the police?
this case of Maddy is so much in the public eye do you really think someone would chance just walking in the street with her?

I agree with many people on here Maddy's face is far too known now to be taken out in public let alone a restaurant.
If I was the one seeing a child I thought was Maddy I would (like others on here) grab her and tell the people she was with who I thought she was.....if innocent they'd wait for the police if not they'd run or fight.......but NO WAY WOULD i live with myself knowing it could be her and they escaped while I was making a phone call......why is it that she didn't have a mobile phone on her? bit strange I thought every living person had one nowadays or does it just appear that way..?
As for the Mccann twosome..well they're in Spain...why? isn't there enough in the fund? what did they mean by stone unturned then? shouldn't they be standing in the bloody place she was seen last asking if anyone seen her....I'd be there with the posters, I've got and be sticking them up around the sighting.......But no they're still sticking to what they'd planned.....is it because they know its not her....she's still in Portugal...never left.....
It seems strange as well that the sighting comes after such a disappointing turn out to the concert.......as has been done before a sighting of Maddy comes to the fore.....takes our concentration ontop something else.....I've said it before smoke and mirrors............

If I thought that Madeleine was in front of me at a restaurant I wouldn't hesitate, I'd grab the little girls hand and tell someone to ring the police. I would explain to the people that had her, that I couldn't live with myself if I had just let my gut instinct be ignored, and if the people were genuine they would understand and oblige, if they were guilty of the crime of kidnapping her they would run.
With all the alleged sightings of Madeleine, why has no one done this already, unless they are just the newspapers making things up.

Can only hope that it is Maddy.
However...skynews reports
"Meanwhile, Madeleine's parents Kate and Gerry McCann are visiting Huelva in Spain" .....seems they don't even acknowledge the slightest possibility.
As the parent wouldn't you fly straight to Belgium and scan the horizon every day in the plazas etc to see if you could spot her.

I have to agree with Kitti.
Surely if you were sure-ish it was her, you'd use your camera phone or kick up a massive stink no matter where you were, shouting "maddy" as loud as possible & wait for local police to arrive.
But I really don't think someone would be so casual as to walk around with a little girl who's face is as famous as posh spice.
The witness was a therapist, so this makes her credible ...because shes part of the medical profession...?

Why didn't this woman get someone around her to take a pic with their mobile phone. I find it hard to believe that she left the room to call the police letting the possible abductors out of her sight. Sadly, I think its probably another hoax.

Hi Top Troll,
I agree with misskitti7 ... I would have never let these people out of my sight or this place if I thought this child was Madeleine ..even if it took making a scene.. I don't believe that the person who took this child would take a chance on taking her out in public when her image is everywhere and still so fresh in the public's mind.....I truly hope this woman did see her.. I would very much like to think she is still alive and well..but as time goes on...it gets harder

It's a bit improbable now, isn't it? Who in their right mind would be out in the open with Madeleine when her face is so well known.

"Mrs McCann said: "Gerry and I want to remind people that our lovely little girl, Madeleine, is still missing.""
We know she is, it's the McCanns who seem to have forgotten.
I hope something comes of this sighting, but there have been a lot of hoaxes already, so I doubt it was her.

It highly unlikely isn't it? As I've said before anybody holding Madeleine will not trail her about in public.
Madeleine is still in Portugal - she never left.
