It really depends on the type of paper, and the thickness of it. When paper is made into a sheet, it is first put into what is called a parent sheet, and that can be up to 100 x 300 feet depending on the mill. The paper is then from there cut down into sheets, 8.5 x 11, 8.5 x 14, 11 x 17, so on and so forth.
