And why do you agree/ disagree? Just curious, lol. They've been my fave band since about 2000-01, but I don't know many other people who like them.
I just saw them in concert, so I've got Incubus on the brain...

Um, obviously I listen to their lyrics, seeing as how they are my favorite band... Their lyrics are thoughtful and poetic, a lot better than, "Now walk it out," or, "She loves you, yeah yeah yea."

I discovered them at about the same time as you.

So far, ALL bands live in the shadow of The Beatles.
To be fair, I have heard of Incubus but have not heard their music. If they influence bands 30-40 years from now, I might concede. The Beatles have to have quit influencing bands first.

The bands you indexed are not crappy, it somewhat is all with reference to the character and frequently what technology they a from. My general band variations plenty and at present day i'm feeling Flyleaf and my at present's obsesion Bullet For My Valentine. BTW they're rock what else are they going to be if no longer? what isn't rock is the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. they do no longer look even close.

incubus is a good band. infact their best stuff was in 2001. their latest albums have not been so good. but still a good band.
not the greatest though, but good

I've barely heard of them. They pale in comparison to the great bands like KISS, Metallica, Queen, etc.

If I wanted poetry, I would listen to emo.
