My left front end makes a hiss noise.
I was told it may be a strut.
I have a 2006 pontiac g6 with 28.5k miles.
was just wondering if it was a strut and if a repair like this would be cover under a "36k bumber to bumber" waranty?

Hissing as your car suspension is flexed is likely a strut, or shock depending on the car and which end is making the noise. And it should be covered under the bumper to bumper portion of the warranty.

Sounds like a strut, but, sad to say, it probably will not be covered under the "bumper-to-bumper" warranty, as it is considered a "non-repairable" item. That means, it must be replaced, just as tires and brakes must be replaced rather than repaired. You might get lucky and have the strut replaced under warranty; I'd check the warranty for exclusions (but as I said, they usually are excluded from warranty coverage).

that seems really early for suspension to start wearing out, take it in and see whats up with it. it very well could be something with your suspension. nice car by the way. got a 05 grand prix myself. Pontiacs kick ***!!

i would have to say call your dealer, or stop in. if thats what it is, i hope its covered. good luck and take care. even if i wasnt really any help. haha
