Braves. And not just because of Big Tex...the Braves were good before they got him. All the bats are really heating up. There are several players batting well over 300 for the season. It will, however, be nice to have a first baseman that can contribute. It is also good that A. Jones is no longer hitting clean-up. That didn't take very long, now did it?

It's obviously going to be a battle between the mets and braves. I like the Braves' chances though.. Andruw Jones is starting to hit a bit.. so essentially they've added 2 big bats, to what was already a pretty good lineup, for the second half.

the mets will win this. braves and phils are making a run but i think the slumping mets are about to come out of it. they cant stay cold for that long. plus pedro will be back soon and make a huge impact in that starting rotation

Mets. They went through their slump and now look like they are pulling out of it. If the Braves wanted to pull into first place, they should have taken advantage of the situation a few weeks ago.

I think the Braves, they got Big Tex now and he is happy to be out of that loser of a team. But the Mets pitchin could sneak in there.

i gatta go with the braves because they now have a big bat in the lineup. although the mets are looking good, i think braves will pull ahead and win by 2 games.

Mets. The Braves will make it interesting though. The Phillies are snake-bitten with injuries, they won't last.
