My husband had an affair with a HPD officer that would come around "for a safe place to use the restroom". Husband's response is... everybody does it. It's just the industry and work environment I'm in. I am just curious to know if their truly are upstanding, strong Christian fireman that stand on their faith in the midst of their bretheren at work

It doesn't matter if the guy is Christian or not it's more a matter of loving his wife or not. A guy that cheats is a guy who doesn't love his wife enough to be faithful and respectful to her. And the only reason why he'll try to gain love and thrust back it's because he knows he doesn't have a backup woman and the trouble it would cause.

Not all firemen cheat. My ex was a fireman and I know that there were plenty of honest upstanding guys on the dept. Certainly more than enough to cancel out his lame 'everyone does it' excuse.

i'm sorry that he cheated on you. sure there are firemen who do no longer cheat, there are Christians who do no longer cheat, there are atheists who do no longer cheat, there are Jews, and Buddhists and Muslims who do no longer cheat. amber: Your right .. quite a lot of Firemen do put out the fires of other women. It is not only, the cheating but what "goodie" [STD] is he bringing home to you from one of his 5 alarm women ? This is probably not his first encounter with putting out the flames of love with other women in your marriage - (he only got caught with this one !)
Too bad he has decided to lead a life where he'll get burned !!!
