Volare is the Latin and Italian word for the verb to fly; adding an acute accent on the final e (volaré) it is also the Spanish word for I will fly. It may refer to:

"Volare", a popular song
Volare Airlines, an Italian airline
Volare Airlines, a Ukrainian cargo airline
Plymouth Volaré, a model of automobile.
Zamperla Volare, a flying Roller coaster model

SuorUgo gave you the right answer, but I have to add the female form Valerie (or even Valeria, like in Italian) is in use in English speaking Countries. So, we can say "Valerio" is Italian male form for "Valerie".

It is written Valerio (it's for males; for women Valeria exists).

An English conterpart doesn't exist.

Now it is Italian first name. It derives from Latin (ie Roman) family name Valerius which in its turn derives from verb VALERE = to be strong/health/fit, to have strenght/force
