I thought it was totally awesome that Marlena asked Belle, what she was doing to help out her and Shawns finances! And to stop complaining and do something about it. Ha, she is such a spoiled brat! She doesn't want to "work", but just take care of Claire. Now before any stay at home mom's say anything, I know it's work to raise kids, but this little brat needs a lot of growing up to do and needs more life experiences.

Your right..taking care of kids full-time IS a demanding job...but i don't really see much of Claire w/her momma. granted they don't have the baby on the show constantly due to child work regulations..BUT still..it looks bad when she professes that her job is taking care of Claire, and yet Claire is nowhere in sight.
i have 3 children, fixing to have my 4th very soon too...i am a stay at home mommy, BUT i have also been a working mommy! I've held down 3 jobs at once to make ends meet before...
you do what you have to do, and it sickens me the way Belle is just lounging around Phillip's mansion like the Queen of Sheba or something.
i think Belle wants Shawn, but also wants Phillip waiting in the wings just in case...she's setting up a safety net. one in which she wouldn't have to do CRAP to help out. cause if she ended up back w/Phillip, he would just cater to her spoiled lazy nature.
I think Marlena gave her a gentle but swift kick in the butt! she needed it.

I agree with you Belle is whining and complaining about what Shawn is and isn't doing she needs to do something to help out. Before she had Claire she was working at Basic Blaque I'm sure Daddy John can make that all possible again. Also why are they struggling her parents are rich for God Sakes you have to be of a certain status to have your very own private jet. Thus for I am so past the Belle and Shawn struggling saga there is no excuse for this and ion reality it's a flipping TV show if they want to be rich all they have top do is snap there freaking fingers and wa-lah their rich.

Marlena is so soft hearted. She needs to stand up and actually act like a mother and tell her daughter that she's spoiled rotten and to get a job. You never "actually" see Belle taking care of Claire anyway. But Hey who "actually"works in Salem anyway? And I agree their parents are both well off so why can't they help them purchase a home or an apartment? Besides when they lived in the loft who worked?

I thought that was the best Marlena moment EVER!!! I can't stand this stupid whiny Belle! All she does is pine away for Shawn, then pine away for Philip (in a denial sort of way). All she does is whine about what she doesn't have. She is not the kind of person who takes action. You hardly ever see her actually taking care of Claire...In fact, when she told Marlena that her "participation" was taking care of Claire - WHERE WAS CLAIRE??? WITH A SITTER!!!!

I find it strange that Belle's parents are among the richest people in Salem, and Shawn and Belle are living with her ex-husband because they can't afford their own place. Yes, she's definitely a whine bag and needs to grow up and get a job!!!

bring claire to daycare... i'm sure titan will "invent" a daycare facility... or give her to hope to watch... she's not working either.

i know the writters are really touching on reality- bcse there are sooo many spoiled brats like her out ther but on the other side of the coin there are plenty of working moms/dads making it
