Carambola, St Croix. The resort is on the north shore west end. The studio suites are right next to the Caribbean Sea. The resort is in a secluded area. It is not a jet ski, bar hopping beach rat kind of place. The snorkeling and scuba diving are world class with the Davis Wall 200 meters offshore. It is expensive. (airfare, lodging and jeep rental for 7 days runs $5000) It is extremely relaxing. The pace is island slow and it is quiet, except for the waves putting you to sleep at night. The facility is gated and secure.

For a quiet, romantic honeymoon, you can't beat the Westin on St John. But if you want lots of nightlife and shopping, any of the St Thomas hotels posted above are excellent.
