i wasn't mad about the end, i was disappointed. i did not like the epilogue at all. i think it will be a very long time before we see another series of books which takes over the world as much as Harry Potter has.

I'm glad everyone got together in the ending (by ending I mean epilogue)but it seemed kinda cliched, ya know? For the benefit of the fans.
It seems that Rowling did leave a possible opening for another series (that would continue with the next generation), but who would be the bad guy? The evil people have already surrendered/been defeated. J. K's books are centered around the theme of good vs. evil, so unless she's going to talk the kids of the second generation (e.g. Harry's and Ginny's kids) and how the grow into adulthood, I doubt she's going to make another series. But she did say that she's going to write an encyclopedia of the backstories on some of the lives of other character in the Potter books.

I wasn't really mad at the ending because I knew it would be the last. I was more in a depressed state because it was the end. But i was a bit dissapointed with the epilogue, I was hoping for there to be tellings of the future of everyone else besides the valiant trio, Ginny, and Draco. I mean, what about Luna? Neville? George? And all them. I thought it was a wonderful book though that brought out tears and laughter and i think it was a sufficient end to the series.

J.K. Rowling always said this was the last book. So there's no surprise that the ending is conclusive. I liked it. It was a good ending to the story, and the epilogue was a nice wrap up, showing that life went on and everyone lived a relatively normal life with Voldemort gone.

I haven't read any of Harry Potter books and I don't really feel tempted to do so.
