Do You Think Smoking is Unattractive?

Cause whenever I see a girl smoking I just get completely turned off. Its like...eww, I know what shes gonna smell like the next couple days. And it ruins your teeth, and burn marks in your car and on clothes. This question is making me ask another...Why do think you are so cool just cause you are smoking?

It smells something awful...bleh

Please don't take this the wrong way, because I am sincerely not trying to be meen, but let me ask you this... What makes you think you are so cool because you don't smoke? If you have never done it then you cannot possibly understand why smokers enjoy smoking. And just so you know, not all of them do, but it IS a addiction and not as easy to quit as a non smoker thinks it is. Just because you think it's uncool or that it is smelly, doesn't mean that a smoker doesn't realize the same. As I smoker I understand that it is harmfull to my health and that it smells unattractive and that it will one day kill me if I don't quit. But on the other hand who are you to get on your soap box? You don't see a smoker asking a question like "what makes you think you are so cool because you don't smoke?" I take every percaution to keep my smoke away from others that don't smoke. I step outside of my own home every time I light up, just so my kids dn't breathe it, I stand the mandated 15 feet from any public doorway, I don't throw my butts out of my car window or on te ground, I am responsible with my dirty little habbit. I don't think smoking is cool just because I smoke, I actually think it's pretty uncool to kill myself slowly, but I don't need someone presenting their two cents when they infact havn't been there or done that! Sorry.

well I see you got attention of a lot of non smokers, what I can tell is I dont find it cool and I dont feel I am so cool just because I smoke, thats very prejudiced, however I cant explain you why I like smoking, you know it is like coffee, it is sour but I just like it, about the smell thats all wrong you dont smell like that for days unless you dont take a shower during such a long period of time (in wich case you would smell bad anyway), about your teeth I can tell you I know a lot of people that dont smoke and their teeth are a very disgusting thing, because they dont wash them, it doesnt have anything to do with smoking in many cases.

one thing that is really affected and you didnt even mention is your lungs, and thats where I see you know next to nothing about smoking, please get informed next time.

and I dondt justify smoking, I know it doesnt make any good, but it is not as easy to quit as you think, and it doesnt have anything to do with your public image.

Smokers really turn me Off. When I'm around Smokers, I start Smelling like Smoke. How grose, I tell ya.

Just the thought of First-Hand Smoke being in someone's Lungs.
Then, that First-Hand Smoke becomes Second-Hand Smoke as they exhale their Smoke and goes into the Non-smoker's lungs.
You might as well take a 'Riff' of that Smoker's Lungs......because that's what we are doing when we Inhale a person's Inhaled Smoke.
I mean, Gag me with an Ice-Pick. Talk about G.R.O.S.E.

It is totally unatractive! I have never smoked and do not ever plan to with the LORD's help either but it is not cool or smart to smoke! My Aunt's dad just died last night from colon cancer because he smoked and drank! It is totally not worth it. It is a waste of time, money, breath, and your life completely!

Very unattractive, smells, makes the house and car smell and not to mention....CANCER!!
My dad started at age 12 yrs and dies at the age of 50 with lung Cancer. I have never smoked nor wanted to.

i think that people who smoke are more attractive than none-smokers. not only cuz im a smoker myself, but just because the idea of being addicted to that, of smoking often, of having that as a part of your daily life just, in my view, makes the person seem like they are willingly self-destructive yet embracing it and not caring about it. its hard to explain. they just look sexier. plus, people who obsess about their health annoy me to death. what if you get hit by a bus before you turn 25? i say live your life to the fullest, smoke, drink, party and get laid. i care less about the body, more about the mind. and its not the length of it, but the quality of the ride which makes the difference. if i die when im 110 and all my life i ate only veggies, had sex with only one or two people, never smoked or had any adventure....id be a very sad old hag.

I think it is very ugly.... and I smoke. I do not think it is cute and I hate it when I leave the house and don't have time to get the smoke smell off of me. As far as burn marks in your car and on your clothes.... thats for amatuers and drinkers! I do not burn holes in anything I own.

I agree it's a big turn off and is unattractive. They think they're cool because everybody is doing it including celebrities. Everyone who smokes is just stupid to me, especially the box tells you you can get cancer by smoking this product...wooow.

I hate smokers too!!! Its like...why get involved with you if youre going to smell so bad and probably die of cancer? I hope it tastes good at least. Mmmm cancer. Yeah I bet thats delicious. How quickly a fad can drop from being "cool" in the 50s to being totally nasty, right after.

i don't care if people smoke or not, but i personally don't like it. i use to smoke, but i got sick one time and the smell made me gag and after that i couldn't stand the smell or taste in my mouth anymore. it was a weird thing to happen and i'm glad because that's a hard habit to kick.
