depends on the situation, reasons and circumstances. If we were liberated by the UN, i might hang around but it'll be dangerous cause, i'm sure some good ole boys will be raising a rucous.
Now if it's somebody i don't like, i'll most likely flee, south america, europe, i'm an international guy anyway. I like to think. War my sometimes be necessary for a civilization but ifeel confident in saying it is never the best choice for a man, for a person, wars are most always BS, GW's up to his nek in it, I'm not sighning up for any juntas, I don't care what happens,
Post apocalypse like mad max i still wouldn't join those thugs at barter town, I'll live out in the woods or travel solo like mad max.
I seen red dawn enough times, i'll do what i have to to survive but i'm not looking for trouble, i'm not raiding fortifide positions, I'll head out in the wilderness, get out the country like the wealthy do.
I'm toying with an idea for a book that i'll spill the beans on cause i like to see my ideas show up on A&E. "How to survive a military invasion" or at first it was how to survive a us invasion but i think that may be a touch risque. The book is modeled after the zombie survival guide and i would reference old cold war manuals, like duck and cover. Mold it to a modern survival manual,
we could double profits wit, how to survive a us invasion and how to survive a muslim invasion. We'd be making bank on both ends of this atrocity. lemons and lemonade.
So my perspective is a civilians guide, normal people, normal reasources, intelligence and information, a family, trying to survive. This give the survival manual a sense of desperation, personal, fear inspiring. Personal stories of children fleeing soldiers. Even old stories and neglect to mention when it happened. a kid hides on a roof and flees a destroyed village, runs to the next town and brings news, then in the distance they hear tank tracks. the villagers grab thier things and run in all directions, menacing roar of the engines comes from everywhere as a child cries without it's mother in the street.
Me i travel by day if possible, obey my occupiers, gain as much info as you can but stay away from large groups. bicycles move quietly and use no gas. always bring a towel and a knife but keep any weapons well hidden.

I'm just wondering as well...what if our government were to put in place a new method of taxation that would virtually wipe out the middle class and place burdens on struggling families?
(That occured in 1913, when the Congress debated into the wee hours and approved the Federal Reserve System and an Income Tax...while the people were sleeping).
America can only be attacked from within.
Given the new direction is toward globalization, it's futile to try and contain our boundaries that are now meaningless.
The new Global World Order is based on economics.
Weaponry is old school and mentality.
Surveilance and spending on latest technology is the way of the new world economy.

I've had horrible dreams about this happening. Mostly because one of our government teachers back in high school asked us basically the same question. It was an eerie thought, but thinking about it makes it evident what the struggles for territory, money, power, God, all of it, is for. To prevent exactly that notion from becoming reality.
If it happened to us, in the United States, what would I do? Well, I hope that I would have the foresight to escape the country and seek refuge somewhere else before things got that intense. If I didn't, and for some reason, stood my ground on our soil, I would fight, in whatever way necessary, and be willing to die for my family, my faith, and my country.

No, Bush will probable do like his daddy and wait till he has below a month to bypass in workplace to attack Iran so as that he can hand off a distant places coverage disaster to the incoming Democratic President. Daddy Bush invaded Somalia with 3 weeks to bypass in his term without genuine plans on what to do as quickly as there, Jr. will invade Iran in a matching way.

The U.S. is due a revolution. I'd rejoice if the 50 states were the only target. If it were to include leadership in all the puppet governments the U.S. has throughout the world then I wouldn't be as happy since that'll slim down a lot of my choices.

Sounds like what happened in Afghanistan, back in 1979, when the old Soviet Union invaded. Also, it is what the Cubans did in Grenada, six months before we invaded. It goes both ways. Most of you anti-American leaning people only want to see one side, and that is it. If you are disagreeing about the invasion and occupation of Iraq, then why are you still in the USA?

Well, if our President had publicly paid for suicide bombers, invaded a country (like Kuwait) that had not attacked them or an ally), had tried to assassinate another countries leader, had broken a cease-fire with that country repeatedly over a decade, I might understand.
I'd still fight like mad, unless that same leader also tortured and raped my fellow citizens, etc.
Then I'd cheer and welcome the liberators, much like much of Iraq did.
Why?

Since you are saying 'what if' and speaking in the hypothetical, let me apply it to the hypothetical US. They, just let's say any military in the world (outside the US of course) invade, say, Texas.... they would face incredible logistics just to get there, and a fanatical opposition. Actually, that would happen anywhere in the US... God Bless the 2nd amendment.

It;s a good question. It is essentially what has happened, but not to the Americans. I am not American, but respect democracy and what true freedom stands for. I don't think it is right for ANY way of life or political conviction, religious belief etc to be forced on any of us. So I would probably protest but not bomb or leave the country. I would fight (peacefully)for my right to freedom. It is worth staying and fighting for.
