Hi, I keep trying to put new layouts on my profile. I went to pimpmyspace.com and I previewed a few layouts and I found one I really liked so I copied and pasted the code for it into the "about me" section, but when i save the changes and look at my page, the background is always blank. I always make sure that I have copied and pasted the whole code, so I'm not sure what is wrong. Any help?

What may have happened is that the image used for the background of that layout is no longer being hosted at the same place that it was when the layout example was posted to pimpmyspace.com. You'll have to find a new background image, or see if you can download it from pimpmyspace.com and then host it yourself at a place like imageshack.us.

I do this all the time (just changed my layout again to the Flash from the Fantastic 4). After you copy/paste the code, go to the top of the page where it says "Save all Changes" (DOUBLE CLICK HERE) and "Preview Profile". After you save the changes, you will have to type in the safety code they show on the next page exactly as it's shown. DOUBLE click that, and if done right, it will say "Profile updated" in red letters on the next page. Then double click the FIRST "Preview profile" tab (above About Me), and it will show just what you changed. To see the full effect of your new layout, wait a couple minutes, then type the url www.myspace.com/(your user ID number/name)--example being www.myspace.com/123456789 or www.myspace.com/johndoe33--in the address bar at the top of the page. PS:if you want some fairly easy layouts to upload go to www.pyzam.com; www.layoutchef.com; www.myspaceprodesigns.com, etc. Members on the forums are saying that these "pimp" sites are messing everybody up.

hmm, just wait for a while.. or, completely delete everything from before and paste the new codes..... 'coz that sort of thing happened to me too...

umm maybe youre not letting it load?
or maybe its just a temporary problem.
mine was doing that this morning.
