I am a Sri Lankan. My one was during 2007 world cup final. When Jayasuriya and Sangakkara going well, Sangakkara was caught at midwicket. That time I had book on my hand and after that wicket, I throw it to long way. I could not control me.

The most dissappointing moment regarding cricket was when India lost to Bangladesh in the 2007 cricket world cup

It was when I was not picked up for the Delhi University cricket Team for the All India Inter University tournament.
My performance was as follows:-
Match player 4
Wickets - 18
Economy - 3.2 runs / over
Runs / wkt - 4.7 runs given 4 every wicket
strike rate - 11 balls ( every 11th ball I took a wicket)
It still haunts me & shook me up to the level I nearly left cricket.
At least my dream to become a professional cricket was shattered. I went for different career.

The second semifinal of the 1999 WC, where SA failed to score 1 more run against Aus in order to win the match & get in to the final.

I agree with the 1999 WC semifinal answer. Watching Klusener save South Africa was breathtaking. Then watching Donald and him mess up a simple run was crushing.

losing to Sri lanka in the 1996 world cup (although sri lanka were the best odi side at the time) and losing the ashes to England in England in 2005-but the 5-0 white wash that we played last year was sweet revenge :)
