how do you liberate a nation which is occupied by a foreign power whose government is brutal and is run by just a few people who hold on to their power. We sure know that the UN doesn't work. After all those peaceful protesting and non -violent activism it hasn't proven successful and there's been no results for the freedom of the oppressed people. We all know that the nations of the world act in their own self interest. so how do we fight this dictatorship to gain freedom? if there's any freedom fighters out there, what would you suggest? i am sorry but i can't give further details cuz i am a private person dealing with this issue.

We do what is in our best interest and hope that our values and freedoms while doing so resonates in those that need a push to move twds freedoms. We didnt go into Iraq for liberations, so what. We went in for some very good reasons and if the end result is freedom, great. We arent trying to liberate china from communism, but our economic policies with the country is pushing that end result. The US, as with every other nation, should be doing what is in her best interest. If this world ended up with the same protections and freedoms that americans have then that wouldnt be so bad.

Think about this, why did France help the americans fight the british in the Revolutionary War? Do any americans now care why? France wanted to stick it to the british. There was no altruistic reasoning for France helping us. Many screaming about us in Iraq would have screamed for France to stay out of it back then. Do I as an american with an incredible Constitution protecting my rights, care whatsoever why France helped us. Will Iraqis care about our reasoning if in 100 years they are free successful democratic nation. This world is actually a lot tamer then it has been in the past. We americans take our freedoms for granted because most of us never had to fight for them. It is tremendously hard for a nation under occupation to rise up and liberate themselves. Pushing our influence to encourage citizens in nations like Iran and N Korea to want change will hopefully help them to do something to gain freedom. Economics makes a huge difference too. We show nations what its like to have our kind of freedom and wealth that anyone can get their hands on is also a big encouragement.

One must beg, borrow or steal and then snatch the freedom from the Occupation forces all over the world. Be it Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, Chechnya, Kosovo, Kashmir or any other place.
Take the example of the East Timur, they got their Independence because good people of the USA and its allies like Australia, Japan and others were backing the cause.

Start a civil unrest of the people (blowing stuff up works). Secertly kill government operatives (the higher up the better, but working from the bottom up workst two). Hightjack the media sorces and spread your message. You'll do need to do this without getting caught, but leave a small signature. The controller's fear will destroy them.

You cannot -- the best you can do is hang out and cheer them on while they attempt to create their own new govt.

Democracy cannot be exported -- it can only be imported.
