West Indies produced an array of great players like Gary Sobers, George Headley, Malcolm Marshall, Frank Worrell, Andy Roberts, Brian Lara, Joel Garner, Michael Holding, Everton Weekes, Ambrose, Hooper, Croft, Richards, Walcott, Bishop, Hall, Clive Lloyd, Atkinson. Today they have Bravo, Gayle, Shiv Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan. Sammy is coming up well. Occasionally Jerome Taylor and Collymore bowl well. Samuels is a huge talent not getting focussed as he lacks hard work. The others are not worth writing about. Basic problem is that great people like Sobers or Richards or Clive Lloyd no more show any ownership. Kalli could have galvanized the team but he is training youngsters in England. Clive Lloyd, do you own the team ? Where are you ?

1. Due to increase in interference of Politics and man management .
2. Greed for more money searching out for most sponsers who wpould pay them heavily.
3 .Lack of Fiery and qlty fast bowlers.
4 . Lack of respect for the country representing and fans .
5 Inexperienced seaon players from domestic level.
6 Lack of facility in improving WI cricket by not sending uncapped players / domestic cricketers to other countries and getting used to the conditions at international level.
7 Selecting non qualified coaches
If Wi cricketers go under the process of relaxation and meditation and show passionism for their counrty and search for good qlty, express , fit, bowlers and qlty spinners , and players capable of stying in crease and know how to handle the situation at that point and have the mental strength to play and fight for their country they will be the fiercest team at present equalling the old wi team.

well I guess it is just purely coz of politics within the team and within the selectors. And pls also note LACK OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS... How else could you comment on a side which has seen one of the all time greats of the game even in this present era.. Not to mention the past!!!!!
