I have a Toshiba Satallite A105 series( bought it in January) and the battery level isn't all that great but it's okay enough for me to get by. Whenever i would charge my laptop, i of course, take the charger off my laptop, BUT about 2 weeks ago I've noticed that my battery has significantly declined faster than it should. For instance, every time i would take the charger off my laptop, about 15-20 mins later the battery level would decline, i mean to make the long story short, it lasts roughly around 30 and sometimes 20 mins. So my question is do i need a new battery? Oh by the way my battery is lithium. Or could i make some previsions to try to preserve my battery's energy? Please help Thanks :)

try to change some settings like make the screen dimmer or turn down the volume. if that doesnt work, youll probably need a new battery. read the manual that came with it-it should have tips on how to conserve and make your battery last longer.

There is a power setting in control panel that will let you turn off or reduce some option's on your machine so the batt will last longer, also toshiba may have thier own setting under tsetup or somthing like that good luck

You most likely need a new battery. The battery is no longer holding the charge it seems.
